New York NY Fresh Deli was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of Uptown Restaurant Group, Inc. In 2006 a Passport Restaurants, Inc. invested in the operation and began major expansion activities with new stores soon to open in the U.S. he company’s focus has always been to offer in our restaurants the best New York Style Deli items.

There are now New York NY Fresh Deli restaurants franchises in seventeen states, and we invite you to explore the possibility of joining our team in Japan. Our focus is in “localizing” the concept and menu to fit the locale and customers. Welcome and thank you for your interest in opening a

Our experience and proven concept provides you a strong opportunity to succeed in the Premium Casual New York Style Deli segment. Premium NY Deli specialty items (oysters sea food that New York is famous for), Gourmet sandwiches (with bread options of croissant, bagel, Kaiser roll, subs) soups, and salads are one of the fastest growing category in this segment.

The menu items can be changed or adapted to Japanese tastes. Many items may not sell well in Japan.

The New York NY Fresh Deli menu choices include made fresh to order, Gourmet Sandwiches, Hot New York Style Sub Sandwiches and cool, crisp, Fresh Cut Salads like Mediterranean Greek Salad with Feta Cheese, Caesar or Caribbean Cobb Salad. Or how about a fresh, cool 100% White Albacore Tuna or Chicken Salad, delicious! Also offered are Specialty Wraps, Daily Soups, and in selected stores, delicious Pastries and Specialty Coffees.
